Welcome to our "Newsletter page" introducing our 2016 Holiday brochure.

I hope by now you will all have received your new brochure by post - if not please give me a call on my mobile and let me know! You will see I have decided that instead of the regular news update I would include some frequently asked questions and my replies - I hope you find this informative.

Q. Is B.Active the same as Breakaway Holidays?
A. No - we share some resources eg. Office space, office staff, occasionally couriers, but we are 2 independent companies offering a different kind of holiday experience.

Q. Why half board?
A. Active holidays are mainly half-board because I believe it offers more flexibility for eating out and experiencing different things.

Q. Can I upgrade to full board?
A. New for 2016 - yes this can be an option on certain breaks - contact us for more details.

Q. Will I get help with my medication and money?
A. Yes - but we will not compromise your independence.

Q. If I am older than 35 can I still go on Active holidays?
A. Yes -this is always a possibility. We always look at the group as a whole and make sure the dynamics are appropriate and that your needs will be met.

Q. Can I have a room on my own?
A. In most instances yes - although there will be a supplement for this.
On rare occasions it is not possible simply if the accommodation is not available. This would always be advised in advance.

Q. Is Active open to all people with a learning disability?
A. We are a company who like to say yes where-ever possible. If in doubt please contact me directly to discuss your needs.

Q. Can I go on holiday with a group of friends?
A. Yes, please call me to discuss your requirements!

Q. Can I pay by card?
A. Unfortunately not at the moment, but you can arrange a direct bank payment or send us a cheque.

Q. Can I be picked up from home?
A. You can upgrade - please contact me directly to discuss.
